Why this one works
It's a symmetrical visual gag: two girls chasing the exact hair the other one already has. The comedy isn't in a punchline, it's in the effort — so the middle of the reel is the point, not the setup. You hold on the flat iron dragging through dense curls and the wand releasing a fresh ginger ringlet long enough that the process itself is satisfying to watch. The swap only lands because each girl stays unmistakably herself: same face, same skin, same hair colour — only the texture flips.
The whole trick
Spend your screen time on the styling, not the reveal. The audience wants to see the flat iron work through the afro and the wand build a curl — the swapped result is just the button. Rush the middle and the joke has nothing to stand on.

Score it with SFX
