Five purchases in ten seconds, then a parcel that goes next door.
The first half is pure shopping high. She sits in bed with a laptop on her thighs and buys a hot-pink handbag, rhinestone heels, cat-eye sunglasses, a silver evening bag and a blush-pink dress, about two seconds each, with a check mark after every click. Then a hard cut takes her to the window seat, bored and waiting. A brown delivery van pulls up. She springs to the glass, palms flat, smiling hugely. The driver walks toward her door, walks past it, and hands the parcel to the neighbor. Her smile freezes and fades, and she slowly slides down the window until only two hand streaks are left. There's no dialogue and no music, just small everyday sounds.
The whole trick
Make the build-up fast and the letdown slow. Five brisk purchases set up the hope, and the long anticipation at the window makes the wrong-house turn land. The disappointment is tiny and her collapse is total. That gap is the comedy.
Four steps, start to scroll-stopper.

Character reference image
Everything depends on one face staying the same. The shopper carries the whole film, so lock a single clean reference of her in Nano Banana (Gemini) or GPT Image before you touch video: bronze-brown polished plastic skin, winged eyeliner, the enormous chestnut ponytail with its rhinestone cuff, and the beige monogram crop top and shorts. Upload it to Seedance 2.0. The driver and the neighbor are background players, so the master prompt describes them in words.

The Shopper
The Impulse BuyerA luxurious fashion doll with deep bronze-brown polished plastic skin, large almond eyes, dramatic winged eyeliner, full glossy lips, a huge chestnut high ponytail with caramel highlights and visible doll joints. She wears a beige monogram crop top with puff sleeves and matching shorts throughout.
Giddy · hopeful · dramatically crushed
The Delivery Driver
The False HopeSteps out of a brown delivery van carrying one medium cardboard parcel. He seems to head for her entrance, walks straight past it and delivers next door.
Ordinary · uniformed · oblivious
The Neighbor
The Lucky OneAnother resident who opens the neighboring door and receives the parcel, then finishes the ordinary delivery in the background of the punchline.
Everyday · unawarePro move
Spell out "no sunglasses covering her eyes," even though she buys a pair. This film runs on her eyes: the widening at each product, the extreme close-up when the van arrives, and the sinking lids at the end. If you lose her eyes, the joke goes with them.
Storyboard the spree, the hope and the slide
Before you animate, lock the story as three stills. Use your doll reference to generate the shopping high, the moment of peak hope and the empty-window punchline. If those three read at a glance, the video will too.
| Frame | What we see | Prompt focus |
|---|---|---|
| SPREE | She sits in bed with the laptop on her thighs and a pink-shaded lamp glowing. A glossy product sits on a clean shopping page with a large "BUY NOW" button. | Medium three-quarter shot, dusty pink and plum bedroom, the delighted half-smile of temptation. |
| HOPE | She stands at the window with both palms flat on the glass, seen from outside. Her eyebrows are up, her smile is huge and her shoulders are lifted. | Through-the-glass framing, a joyful face that is slightly ridiculous but sincere, her identity matching the reference. |
| SLIDE | Seen from inside, her back slides down the window with her palms dragging on the glass. Outside, the neighbor takes the parcel from the driver. | Locked medium-wide shot, two faint hand streaks, the window composition almost empty. |
Here's the prompt for the HOPE key frame, palms on the glass:

| Time | Beat |
|---|---|
| 0:00–0:02 | The first temptation: in bed with the laptop, she spots a hot-pink handbag, clicks "BUY NOW" and a check mark appears. |
| 0:02–0:04 | Another pair of shoes: silver rhinestone platform heels, a fake moment of consideration, a knowing smile, click. |
| 0:04–0:06 | Getting carried away: black cat-eye sunglasses, one decisive nod with a delayed ponytail sway, bought. |
| 0:06–0:08 | One more: a rhinestone evening bag, a silent delighted "oh," hand to chest, click. |
| 0:08–0:10 | The shopping high: a blush-pink dress, a guilty side glance, click, then she hugs the closed laptop with her eyes shut. |
| 0:10–0:11.5 | Now she waits: hard cut to daytime at the bay-window seat, bored pout, phone beside her. |
| 0:11.5–0:13 | The delivery van: a brown van pulls up and the driver steps out with one parcel. Extreme close-up as her eyelids spring open. |
| 0:13–0:14.5 | It must be for her: she stands with both palms on the glass, a huge joyful smile, seen from outside. |
| 0:14.5–0:16.5 | The false hope: in her POV the driver approaches her door, she makes tiny celebratory fists, and he walks past toward next door. |
| 0:16.5–0:18 | Wrong house: the neighbor receives the parcel and her smile freezes, then slowly fades into wounded disappointment. |
| 0:18–0:20 | Punchline: she slides down the glass and out of frame, leaving two hand streaks. Hold on the near-empty window. |

Sound, cover & publish
The render does most of the work. These finishing touches are what make it feel like a studio drop.
Foley only, no music
Mouse clicks · soft confirmation chimes · the laptop closing · quiet street ambience · the van stopping · footsteps · the neighbor's door · subtle hand squeaks on the glass. Leave a short silence when her smile disappears.
No title card in the film
The prompt rules out title sequences and slogans, so the only on-screen text is "BUY NOW." Put the name in the reel cover and caption instead, and let the empty window be the last frame.
Publish for Reels
9:16, with the hook in the first 0.5s: her eyes widening at the first product. Caption with a comment-gate: "Comment CART for the full guide."
Don't rush the fall
Don't let the edit cut straight from her smile to the frown. The joke is in the slow, continuous slide from frozen smile to sinking eyelids to the drag down the glass. Give the second half room to breathe.
